Summarize Truman's Doctrine
After WWII, the U.S. and the Soviet Union entered a war of political ideology. The Truman Doctrine addresses his concerns towards Greece and Turkey. Greece had appealed for financial aid and economic assistance. They plead that Greece cannot survive as an independent nation. Thus, it was crucial for the U.S. to aid them, since they were threatened by the activities of Communism. The British Government can no longer give assistance after March 31. Turkey needs American attention as well because their integrity needs to be majority, and the ones which are ruled by minority.
