                                                                                 Summarize Cross of Gold Speech
William Jennings Bryan delivered a speech in Chicago of 1896. It can be considered one of the important speeches during American history because it advocated both the use of gold and silver as currency. Sliver that had a 16:1 ratio of sliver to gold would help the poor farmers not go in debt and have more money. In addition, it would decrease the problem of Inflation in America.
